2010 Malibu Boats honors Paradise Watersports
Friday November 12, 2010 in the beautiful setting of Incline Village, NV at the foot of Lake Tahoe; Malibu Boats held their annual dealer meeting where they honored the achievements of their dealers and sales personnel throughout the year. With the nation together in a deep recession, and the West Coast taking an especially large hit, Paradise Watersports managed to put up some incredible numbers relative to the market and brought home some hardware!
Paradise earned an Exceptional Customer Service award, Top 10 Dealer in Sales (nationwide), West Coast Dealer of the Year, and Chris Loomis brought home his 5th Western Region Salesman of the Year award! “It was a team effort, that team just happens to be a whole lot smaller this year! The guys worked hard, and we deeply appreciate our customers for supporting us and patronizing our business. Without them, we wouldn’t be here.” explains Chris who is proud to have helped Paradise crack the Top 10 dealer list. “For years we have been in the top 3 hunting for #1 which is where we plan on being every year. But these last couple [of years] have been different-to earn top 10 in this economy is huge.” he goes on to say.
Paradise would like to thank all of our customers who have supported us and we hope to see you again in the spring time! After all, we have some new toys in the works that your going to want for next season…
Malibu Redesigns the 2011 Wakesetter 247 LSV

Since the 247 LSV was released in 2006, Malibu has tested, used, listened, tweaked, and updated the largest offering in their line but for the first time has gone back to the drawing board to give what most call ‘the limo on the water’ a fresh new feel.
At the core, the vast amounts of storage and interior room have remained, the wakes will still clear a cove of on lookers when being surfed behind, and the sheer beauty of this ultra luxury vessel are present. Using that platform of success, the party is expanding to the backyard. Whether you’re tied up to an island of fellow boaters, anchored on the beach, or just out for a float, the new rear facing lounge allows Mom to safely watch the kids swim or son to suavely observe the ladies going by in comfort. Under seat storage, cooler space, and cup holders increase the enjoyment of the aft lounge as well. The deck has been brought up to new heights creating an even deeper boat that will ride smoother and dryer than before while the bow has increased in size for daughters and their friends everywhere. With the newly designed 8” in boat speakers, return of fly by wire throttle control, and the next generation of dash pod technology featuring keyless start; this is one boat you can not help but want.
In stock now on the showroom floor, stop in and see these plus the many other changes that have gone into the all new 2011 Malibu Wakesetter 247!
Axis Wake unveils a new model in the A20

Axis is back at. Apparently it’s not enough to start a new company year 1, and improve its options year 2, but now they want to expand their line up in year 3! Well I guess that’s what you would expect from a company that’s young, progressive, edgy, and restless. At first glance, the A20 and A22 look alike; almost to the point that you can’t tell them apart. That’s the point- the A22′s wakes are exactly where we want them. But for those of you who can’t fit a 22′ boat on your lake or in your garage you no longer have to be left out. Much like the A22 was based upon Malibu’s VLX, the A20 has taken much of its engineering from the VTX. At 20′ long, 98″ wide, and a tower that folds beneath the windshield, this 12 passenger economical choice might just be what you are looking for starting in the lower $40′s.If 900 lbs of ballast, 1,000 lbs of patented Wedge, and 1,300 lbs of plug n play are not enough… then I know a couple Samoan’s you might want to meet. Skiers don’t fret. The beauty of Malibu’s 20 VTX was its cross over nature and since they share much of the same hull designs, we have added the optional ski pylon so that you can enjoy the buttery soft ski wakes without compromising the meaty wakeboard wakes. The shortened length, Shark tracking fin, 5.7 Indmar 335hp, and weighing in at a mere 3,100 lbs, the A20 is one heck of a fun boat to drive! With Malibu’s full pallet of colors now available, they look it too.
Axis only has a few molds so getting your hands on one of these is going to be tough, don’t wait until spring thinking we can build at will or it WILL be too late!
New Malibu Touch Command

Leave it to Malibu to bring yet another first to market. FibECS, swivel pylon, Illusion tower, Power Wedge, MaliView, there are too many to list in the 29 year history of Malibu Boats game changing firsts. Suffice to say they can be summed up in 19 of the last 20 Boat of the Year awards, currently 9 consecutive, and more product excellence awards than every other company combined. Malibu innovates, others imitate. The year after the advent of the G3 tower (Innovative Product of the Year) Malibu shows no mercy by releasing MALIBU TOUCH COMMAND, an iPad like interface to all of your boats controls. Keyless start, touch screen illumination, day and night settings, digital ballast options, and more. MTC has eliminated the need and consequent dash clutter that archaic toggle and rocker switches are known for on our competitors’ boats.Simplicity in layout, logical in function, and technologically advanced in performance; you traded in your rotary phone years ago and now you have an iPhone, why wouldn’t you do the same with your pride and joy? Malibu Touch Command is standard on all new 2011 Wakesetter, Sunscape, and Response series models. Come by and play with it today. No, it’s not upgradeable, time to get a new one.
